My new friend

Happy Wednesday........This is a picture of my new friend, we met yesterday on the front porch. I must say that it was not a happy meeting and truly hope, I do not meet any of his family. He is now spending time at school in a container, no longer breathing, may I add. He met with a Croc. Gently though, as I wanted to share his size. YUCK....

On another note, Thyme Savors catering/dinners is taking off and expanding at an alarming rate. It is fun, but I am finding I need to work on my planning, as to not become consumed.

Happy Fall Friday

What a beautiful day it is here. I love this weather and we made it through the am rush with no screaming...always a bonus. I am off to have lunch with a friend and take my sweet boy to the dentist but I had to share first. Logan has asked to get his ear pierced, I have said NO!!! I have explained about sterotyping and being judged. I told him I do not know why it has to be that way, but it is. Today, he comes downstairs to "do his hair" and comes out like this. He tells me "Mom, if they know me, they already know I am not a hood and if they do not know me, then they can get to know me and realize I am not" This was a bit deep for me this am, but I am so proud that he feels that way. But, he is still not getting his ear pierced :)

Happy Fall

Fall is my favorite time of year and I have decided to start a blog to share recipes, pictures, and family happenings. I love to cook and am always looking for recipes to share. I have recently started a dinner service and will post the new menu every two weeks. I will leave you with a picture of my sweet girl until I write again.
